Student's Flora of the British Islands

This student textbook, by botanist and director of Kew Gardens Sir Joseph Hooker (1817-1911), was originally published in 1870, but is here reissued in the third edition of 1884. Its object was to supply a fuller account than was currently available of British flowering plants and cryptogams.
