Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language

The study is a historical excursus that sheds light on the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language within the Arab world and partially outside of it during the last sixty years (1958-2018). It takes into consideration Arab scholars' discussions and written production dedicated to this field since its dawn.
